Our community is faced with a looming financial crisis for individuals and families affected by COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We have a simultaneous crisis facing our health care system. Community resources will be inundated. Food pantries will be in high demand and calls for help are already pouring into our 211 centers. While we worry about our own futures, we must not forget the people in our community who are already struggling with the financial effects of COVID-19.
What you should know: Local social service non-profits will receive 100% of donations raised. Non-profits will be able to access the funds quickly and easily, beginning April 1, 2020.
